When I first attempted to connect with the Netzwerk Philadelphia
I had a disappointing experience. [See my blog of Thursday, July 21, 2011]
This time, however, a pleasant surprise was in store for me
when I attended the Main Line Stammtisch Meetup Group
in Ardmore on Tuesday August 5, 2014.
I experienced a very pleasant evening in the company of
an enjoyable and engaging group of
individuals I had never met before.
Ein herzliches Dankeschoen, allen, die dabei waren.
This was very unlike my first experience, a few years ago,
and I am now emboldened and look forward to also
check out other German-speaking groups.
